SG I am assuming that this was just the formality of the paperwork & POS wasn't privy to the inner workings of the clubs finances & cap. I imagine he would report back to base & they would say yay or nay to $x.
To expect him to be in the know about the finer points of the clubs $ would be a stretch. That in itself would be a full time position.

What has me more worried ore than anything, is that just when I thought that Rothfield will soon hang up his boots, a younger, more aggressive "journalist", a rothwitt protege in Paul Kent comes in and starts talking crap. This is the first time I've actually had a chance to read the full report (must remember to keep it handy the next time insomnia hits) due to a lot of crappy stuff happening to me around the time of this event.

My conclusions?

Owners = inept & stupid, at very best.
Admin = Deceitful, lying pieces of rubbish.
Players involved = Dumb & too trusting, at best. I still find it very hard to believe that at least a few of them did not know of the goings on.
Coach = Smooth as duck turd. Smart enough to keep his head down & play dumb about the whole thing. He had to have known. If he didn't then it really is all about the cattle & not the coach. He just ain't that bright.


It is waaay too evident that the cap will never work while it relies on the honesty of all involved.
Ditch it.
