  • Folau 2014

Brain's SBW and Folou prediction may well come true in 2014.

Parra look like they're no longer interested.

I for one hope that prediction doesn't come to pass. One mercenary is enough let alone two or three.

You're right, I would prefer Leilua and Moga.

I take it you're being sarcastic Vasco so I'll respond by saying that I prefer team players to mercenaries as I believe a committed though arguably less talented team player is better for the team than an arguably more talented though selfish player.

I hope every other sporting team in Australia turn their back on him. He's given the finger to two codes, now time for the third code to give him the finger. Pi$$ off Folau, and don't come back.

                He's not that good anyway.

Moga has the attributes and potential to be a better player.

I'd say the jury is well and truly out on Moga.

Folau is immensely overrated. His one skill is jumping to catch a ball... although as his stint in AFL proved even this he could only achieve providing the odds were stacked in his favour i.e. getting a running jump over the top of a flat-footed defender.

Any NRL club that would pay his $500+k asking price need their heads read.

Similarly, any Super 15 club that are willing to pay for him should instead scrounge up another $500K and chasing thurston (say, from the ARU who'd actually be interested in chipping in if a S15 club were going after Thurston)

There's no way that a winger/centre can command such money. Inglis and Lyon are the only ones who i can think of that can command that price. Folau is nowhere near their league.

Completely agree. Inglis can command it because he can play anywhere from 1-5 and be the best on field in that position. Lyon on the other hand can command that sort of money as he is simply one of the greatest captains in the game.
