His best abilities are his support play & ball playing, in what way are these traits of a touch footballer?

He's fine under the high ball, his kick returns were always a bit of a worry but he's no doubt filled out by now.

Henare Wells is better than the lot of them. His development over the off season will see him put on 15kg & stretched another foot taller.

There's a size requirement for centres? Based on what?

The kid is still growing, stand next to him and tell me he's too short to be playing centre. If you still believe that then I'll tell Michael Jennings to give it away.

Wells hasn't yet demonstrated the toughness required to be a first grade footballer, you think Mini gets hammered on kick returns, it would be nothing compared to the pounding Wells would take, yes he has some very promising ball skills but he is a long way away from being close to first grade standard.

Although RTS is being groomed as a fullback, the one concern they have of him, at the moment, is his aerobic capacity. Fullback runs approximately 14km per game and they're not sure whether he's up to it at this stage or not. There's definitely thought that left-centre may well end up being his best position.

A lot easier to build up your physical physique than learn skills such as ball playing.

Not harder to be much better than Mini anyway; just don't run sideways throwing 1000 dummies waiting to be picked off and smashed by a defender.

RTS is training in the centres From what I am hearing we have some issues there at the moment with injuries to BJ and SKD

RTS has enough natural footballing ability to play anywhere along the backline.

I would be happy enough to see him play in the centres but Mini shouldn't play fullback ahead of him.

If Mini plays fullback next season it will be another long year.

IMO Henare Wells is destined for a Shaun Foley career.
