Now all the Roosters have to do is get rid of Arona FPN Cherrington & probably Moga & give blokes like Alaomai, Symonds, Bosden & Oldfield a go.

Even if he did start to become more consistent in attack his defence is still woeful, his lateral movement is shocking and he was even getting found out at NSW Cup level. Sure he might go to a club where they can hide his weaknesses and become the next Kasiano but he'll never be a great player. For such a young side (and we still are, we can't forget that) we don't have the experience to carry a player like Masoe. Given we don't have the attacking flair to push for a top 8 position it's important we build our season on our defence, this is (assuming he actually is leaving) the first good sign that it's Robbo's intentions.

The next Petero he'll never be, the next Kasiano/George Rose, sure but they're really not great players.

I have a bad feeling Moga is all show & No go. A champion player growing up when he was bigger than everyone else but now that he isn't the biggest & NRL is another level Im doubting his ticker. I was a fan of his until recently but I think there are other guys at the club who are more interested & are more likely to put in more of an effort. Only my opinion.

Rooster_6 if the Roosters can become a top 3 defensive team they will make the 8.

I agree with you the Roosters have to work over time on defence during the offseason with the plan of playing a boring brand of footy grinding out wins. If they can hold teams to 15 points or less well then all they have to do is score 16 points, which they should be able to achieve?
