I was going to mention the Dogs. Won the minor Prem and made the grand final in no small part due to some 'big Polys' dominating.
Or with big help from a little aboriginal bloke called Ben Barba.

Agree that he has not fulfilled his potential. Having said that, it will be a shame to see him go - was great to watch in full flight.

I hope the story is wrong, while Mose is an inigma, I feel his coaches to date havent tapped into the smouldering volcano, that lies underneath, I'd like to let Robinson have him for a season, and see if he can find the switch, that could turn Mose from a could be, to a world class forward, I believe the raw potential is there, its just a matter of finding the on switch. I'd hate for him to go to another club, and it happens, he's still under contract anyway, so what did we have to lose , by letting him go early, its only a lose, lose decision , in my book.

I agree BR, it seems a strange time to release him, can the coach already have lost faith in him, possibly not putting in at off-season training, could be the coach drawing a line in the sand & Mose being on the wrong side of the line?? Strong message to the squad if this is so, hope anyone else who has been known to bludge in the past is taking note, FPN anyone??

I'm a bit sick of this feel good shit in letting guys go even though they are under contract only to see them benefit other clubs. If Mose is not up to scratch then let him rot in Newtown and he can find another club when he's a free agent. Why do we make it easy for him if he's not putting in? Sends the wrong message imo.

Make a contract mean something again. If a player doesn't wanna put in for the Roosters while under contract, fine, rot in lower grades.

                    Chook.

                        Very interesting.
Are we doing a player exchange as surely they are WAY OVER their cap now?

On one hand it would be sad to see big Mose move on. We have heard a bit about the neck injury he has meant to have had for the past couple of years but never the full extent of it. I think he is a lot better than a lot of the big Polynesian kids that don't quite make it.

If he move on I will be sad but the fact is he has had a lot of chances and failed to really establish himself as a top front-row forward. If its true I wish Mose all the best and hope he can take the step up wherever he ends up.

I agree Chook but for me it all comes down to what is best for the club.

If we are releasing Mose to pick up someone else then I'm happy.

Chook would that be the same wrong message that we sent when we let Tamou go, I dont think so, to get him back will cost us an arm and a leg, for the non believers in here, a bloke named Beetson, came to us with the worst training record in the comp, it took a good coach to turn him around as well, if you cant see a football player in Mose, you just dont now one when you see one, he's not an athlete, he's a footballer, and a good coach would see that as well.
