    Thanks Vasco good to hear.

Did anyone else recieve a text message yesterday arvo from the Roosters letting you know there was a players & fans BBQ coming up but it was only for 2013 members?

I havn't renewed yet but I will I used to do it on the 31st of Dec so I could log onto the Wall for the new year. Now that they dont have a forum on the wall I am not in such a rush but I am going to purchase the Silver package (that is great value) for next season.
My question is have the Roosters delivered on all there fan days for 2012 & is this one that they sent me a text about an extra?
Otherwise 2012 members should be able to attend, not that I will be there.

I thought your membership ran out at midnight on the 31st Dec.

I've definitely noticed a conscious push to install a lot of passion back into the club, hiring a lot of Easts Men & little things like this always go a long way. Unlike Thirteen supporting a club for me is more than just results and I agree there's definitely a good feeling about this season regardless of whether we win the comp or not you can tell there's a lot of love!
For me it's all about premierships. As long as the club is financially viable I couldn't give a rats about that drag of a place Easts Leagues. Life size posters of past great don't get me all sentimental. It's the Premierships that make me feel warm and fuzzy.

She wasn't Asian. The symbols tattooed above her arse were. It said 'harder and faster'.
And yes it was very warm but not too fuzzy

Well stephen, this old lady has just come back from picking up her membership packs and I have a lump in my throat and a tear in my eye. I know Thirteen won't approve, but I am very sentimental when it comes to my footy team and I still have goosebumps from walking around looking at all the memorabilia on the walls, especially seeing some of the old ledger books and caps from days gone by. I'm such a history buff for anything to do with Sydney, and a self professed nerd who likes museums and art galleries so being able to walk down anytime I want now to the club and look at priceless memories of Jack Gibson, Artie, Johnny Peard and Freddy makes me very happy. There is a small corner for my friends who like gambling on the horses (you know who you are ) and the whole place has a new energy about it. I know who the true pride of the league are and it certainly is NOT our red and green neighbours..

I'm so happy with my membership packs too. The new 'beer mat' type of scarf will take a little getting used to but I love the hat as it's not the trucker style. There is a fridge magnet with the full draw including dates and times and also be careful not to throw out the cloth badge which is included as they get stuck in the bottom of the bag. I almost threw Freddy in the bin..quelle horreur! The Chic membership came with a beautiful red diary which goes well with the silver pen from last year and also a silver manicure set and makeup mirror because us Easts girls actually care about our appearances, unlike some unwashed who shall remain nameless...I feel like it's Christmas!

I popped into the club last weekend and wholeheartedly agree with the others who have already commented, the club have done a fantastic job with the renovations. Some of the memorabilia was the stuff they had on display when they had the shop in the mall, but there was a heap of stuff I hadn't seen before.

Hi redwhiteblue. I don't disapprove at all but personally I just don't get sentimental about such things despite my love for the club.
Ps. I just had a great schnitzel from John

And where's my PM telling me all the truth, like who has the biggest Wang and who drinks the most???

Seriously dude I'm as disappointed as 13 is about people not cheering loud enough for his liking.

Next time I'm down we gonna christen that mo-fo Bondi style.

I tried calling you but your phone was off or out of coverage?

Oh dear, dont tell me they have recycled these ones again, i still have one sitting in my drawer in its cellophane wrapping from years ago, liked the one i bought for $5 at a sale at the Hordern Pallivion more than the beer mat style ones.
