He is free to recommend any player to any club worldwide.

No matter where you are in the world you will always remember your roots and we must not forget that he was originally a born and bred western Sydney boy. Brad Fittler was a legend of the club but the club has out lasted his career. Thanks for the memories Freddy but I have moved on from you and others should as well.

      Hi stsae,

2009 was a terrible year with injury, poor performance and costly refereeing decisions but I have notice that Mitchell Pearce's kicking game thrived under Fittler's tenure. I do believe it was a shame that Freddy was not able to be retained in a coaching capacity at the club outside of the head coach position.

From memory he was offered a position with Smiff mate but chose to get away from coaching. I think that season would've hurt him for sure, especially what seemed from the outside a mini-revolt from some of the senior players. I agree that many unfortunate forces came together to make that an especially bad season.

I reckon he needed a few seasons away from the game. I believe he has a lot to still offer as a specialist coach. Head coaching IMO isn't in Freddys nature. You need to be a hard carnt to be a head coach. Freddys a funny carnt.

From everything I've seen of Freddy since he seems to be over any negative feelings he may have had towards the club. He always seems to talk us up in the media and wears his RWB ties etc when he can. I reckon hed know we made Freddy a very well off individual indeed.

Like Artie, Fairy and Gibbo they all got the arse at some point, more than once often, but all seem to have been true Easts Men. Even Pappy loves the Coqq still.

Negative spin from News fiLTh makes some of our fans question funny things.

        You know it makes sense.

I agree with all your points there mate. Freddy cops a raw deal over that season from some fans, some of it deserved, some of it undeserved as factors out of his control contributed to our demise.

Freddy did good things whilst he was here as well.

Moreover, to question Freddy's integrity over him doing something to help an individual, the game in Fiiji and the game overall is very poor. Why shouldn't Freddy have some love for Penrith? Would you have questioned the integrity of Arthur Beetson is he attended a Balmain event or assisted them. Hardly.
I don't consider it a dumb post eventhough you may and the question was why wouldn't he introduce this potential player to us rather than the Panthers and yes I am well aware of where he comes from.

Of course its dumb. Do you rate this bloke the porter? Did we miss out on a big opportunity? You have proven that the Daily Telegraph is smarter than you.

I have no problem with Freddy supporting Penrith. When you grow up supporting a team as we all have but you happen to play FG not like all of us for another team it doesn't mean the player when he retires has to go for the team he played for.

                  It was all about money.

I like the idea of players when they retire barracking for the team they grew up going for.

Again I say in your opinion it may be a dumb question but still isn't to me and no I have no idea if this said player is any good at all , I wasn't insinuating whether he was or wasn't, for that matter.
The point I was making was we should have been his first point of call in my opinion and I am still allowed to have one.
On whether the DT is more intellegent than I what a stupid comment, attacking someones intellegence

The wackiest used car saleman of all time is this little monkey lookin spinner called Leo Cuschieri. He had a yard at Enmore on Enmore Rd, man how this guy sold cars is beyond me. His little work shed had no power & the window had been smashed so he then covered it over with a sheet of timber so inside was almost in total darkness, the guy never washed the cars there was dog shit all through the yard most of the cars didnt start & the bloke never tubbed. How do I know all of this my dad owned the car lot that Leo rented from him.
