Just got the members pack, the sew on loyalty patch is very nice, the fridge magnet with game schedual is a handy thing and the scarf isnt to bad but with no white in it makes it look abit newcastle like, but everything else looks so tacky with the big REPRESENT all over it, not even sure what it is meant to mean? they should always have an old stuffed chook sticker in it too.

I didn't renew in 2010 (d'oh!) after the disastrous 2009 wooden spoon season. The catalyst was the last round of the season, wooden spoon playoff against the Cowboys, Fitzy's last game. The club wanted us agonising fans to dip into our own pockets to buy novelty Fitzy bald-head caps for the game, after watching our boys piss on the jersey all season long. The club should have distributed them for free to honour our favourite son, but instead wanted $5 a-pop.

So yeah - I didn't renew the next season (and we almost won it!). There's a lesson in there somewhere. I think...

I know what you mean mate. Sometimes it just feels like a slap in the face doesnt it and i can understand completely why you didnt feel like you should renew for 2010 after the mess that was 2009. I felt the same way about 2011 and that what led to some of the issues in relation to my refunded membership.
