Just over 6,000 members as of this morning ..... I feel thats a little bit weak, I hope we can gather up at least 12,000-15,000 .... Well I hope so anyway!

talked to a season ticket holder today who hasnt renewed as yet, lots of messages for him from the club, players phone calls starting again too! he wasnt going to renew if we signed cooper! weve got much better than him on our radar lately!

Guys I had a quick question. I picked up my membership from the club today, and got all the extra stuff in the bag (like cap, scarf, etc.) but didnt get my membership card. Do you guys know if they post that out to me or is that supposed to be in the bag ?? There was no letter either, just the Hastings club badge, calendar, laynard and card holder but no card....

The cards do come separately via mail as I picked up my memberships at the club too back in December. Don't panic.

Certainly. Both he and Kennedy in particular seem to have lost a lot of fat mass and gained some muscle. They both look to have followed this Paleo diet that Keegan Smith has implemented very strictly. I just hope they've kept up their total mass close to what it was last year. Obviously we'll be a lot more mobile in the middle but when we struggled to gain ground last year with one of the biggest packs in the comp a lighter one may struggle to really get over the advantage line. Maybe it's an indication of a change in tactics from dummy half running to the forwards getting into our deep sets a tackle or two earlier. What are your thoughts Mike? You sound like a guy who knows his conditioning.

I know he hasn't been on board very long but Jennings is the guy who I think looks REALLY fit compared to the past. He's shaved his beard and looks fitter than usual...

Kudos to Sydney Roosters Marketing

Well I have to pass this on. In another thread which I cannot find, I criticized marketing. I use my phone app all the time to post , so I am limited in regards to finding previous posts.

A week ago I received a call from the Roosters offering me an interstate membership pack, with the caller advising me I could use the 2 free tickets thatcwere included in the deal, to watch the roosters this year at Suncorp.

I quickly replied, no thanks, we don't play at either Suncorp or at the gold coast. He replied, 'oh' and it was obvious he was not 100% sure of his information.

I commented in my thread that I thought it was very unprofessional and in the end I bought a cheaper pack that I can give to the kids to share.

Well today I received a call from a gentleman at roosters marketing. He said he had read my post and was only ringing to apologise to me. It was a telemarketer that they had used and they have since advised their temporary staff of the true situation. The guy today did not ring to sell me anything else. Just to apologise on behalf of the roosters.

Very professional and I am glad I am a chook!
