You don't sign guys until 2012 unless they can play.

"He needs to be surrounded by people who give a shit" concerns me. I know Brian Smith and Steve Noyce will do their best but the majority of our playing roster is young and relatively immature. Likely to only 'give a shit' about themselves.

Maybe mumsy can move to Sydney and take care of her little lad.

He's obviously not a bad bloke when he's off the grog. But you can say that about most people, it doesn't excuse their actions when they go on a bender. He obviously becomes a totally different character when he's had a few which is why he should abstain if not totally then close to it.

If he's given another crack at the NRL, he should be extremely grateful for the opportunity and not piss it up against the wall.

I think he is 23 next year which will make him one of the elders of the team; hard to believe.

But judging by this story, I get the feeling that he may have learned a few lessons and he may be the one that could help some of our younger brigade.
