Am I the only one who isn't bothered by this? I feel like he is easily replaced.
No Chris I am with you. Obviously the kids attitude sucks and this is what most of us have been complaining about. Keeping the # ickheads at the club. Yes he will go to Newcastle with Bennett, but so what. They obviously have a plan B. No doubt though that some on here will still criticize the Club with absolutely no knowledge of how bad BJs attitude has been.
Tbh, I think he is an average footballer and I am prepared to have faith in our coach.

Truer words have never been spoken JC. We have given BJ a fair crack over the last few years and in return he has given us minimal reward. I think it is a brave call to make from robbo, especially given that we have re-signed him earlier this year and also forgiven him for what he did outside our club and the shit he dragged us through in the media a few months ago. Not many clubs would have stuck by his earlier off field issues but we did.
If its true that he has the wrong attitude then he can go to the naughts, and see there what a bad attitude will give him in return.
Comment of the year:
Andrew Johns, Semi-Final vs North Queensland ,
"It's touched Lui's hand and travelled forward but that's not a knock on"
NEWCASTLE are favourites to snap-up Roosters discard Joseph 'BJ' Leilua, who was released from the final two years of his contract on Tuesday.
Earmarked as a future NSW Origin star, the powerful three-quarter had been speaking to Roosters officials about a fresh start for the past month.
A conviction for sending lewd photographs of an ex-girlfriend in October placed Leilua on his final warning, straining relations between the 21-year-old City Origin winger and elements of the club.
It's also understood Roosters coaching staff were not suitably impressed with Leilua's attitude over the pre-season, and he was omitted from the team's training camp at AIS headquarters in Canberra this week. The release was signed-off Tuesday, with the Roosters issuing a blunt two-sentence statement to usher the St George junior out the door.
The Sydney Roosters have today announced that Joseph 'BJ' Leilua has been released from the final two years of his contract forthwith," the statement read. "Leilua will leave the club immediately and no further comment will be forthcoming from the Sydney Roosters."
Leilua left the Dragons at the end of 2009, playing one season under current Knights coach Wayne Bennett in Wollongong.
Newcastle insiders last night said Bennett never wanted to lose him and confirmed moves were underway to sign reform troubled star.
Sacked Bronco Dane Gagai proved a revelation for Newcastle last year, and Leilua has even more promise given his back-to-back selections in the Emerging Blues squad.
But with the salary cap set to rise to $5.8 million next year, there will be plenty of spare change for other suitors.
Well, that explains why he was sinking piss last Friday night at the Rocksia. Loads of potential but very undisciplined & immature.
Robbo has done the right thing IMO. All players at the club should take heed of the professionalism expected of them.

Well he wasn't drinking or doing anything wrong that night from what I briefly saw, and wasn't the only one from the squad there so we can't really jump to conclusions lol, but no doubt he would have done something stupid recently to get sacked.
Also makes me sick that players can be dickheads at a club then all of a sudden become 'good' and kill it for another club... They should be more accountable for their actions then that.
I really hope they dont put Maubs in the centres. That'd be disaster. The worst case scenario, BJ goes to Parra and lifts their side and keeps them out of top 4. They're my 2nd most hated side after Tigflukes. Hope he goes to Newy. Im dissapointed coz we have no depth in centres and no ones of contract. Adam Henry can fill in but really, I thought we could get into 7th now i tihnk we may miss out.........again
I think you will find the club has someone else in mind to cover this problem. Even when Moga got hurt, The talk was that we were about to pounce on an outside back from another club. I think with the cap all but sorted, we now know what we can spend, & don't count out someone from pommy land playing with us next year as well. Robbo has very good contacts over there & is a well liked coach. Stand by santa could deliver a big prezzie early.
