Looked forward for this guy to be consistent but was up and down IMO. I was more sorry we let Linnett go last season. I thought he had a better game than BJ. Sure BJ will have some big games next year but it will be a few years until he settles down to be a better player but we need results now not in 4 years. Au revoir BJ!
I'm Stoked about this. What did BJ Leiloser offer us? One good game per season doesn't cut it in any league.
His woeful defence in the 2010 GF was the turning point. He cost us games against the saints, souths and a few others. All for what, one good game per season. And this yr that wasn't even for us, it was the city vs country game. In 2011 his one good game was against the storm in rd 26 when the season was over, then he got injured. In 2010 his only above average game was against the Dogs. That's it.
Potential means jack. Sa and Soliola had potential also. Finally we might have a decent backline without Perrett and this no neck Goose.
Kudos to Robinson. I like him already. Obviously he seen a few tapes of this loser and made the correct decision to cut him.

Who would you pick in the centres for Rd1 for 2013 as it stands?
Start him at 1/2 back or 5/8 for the U20's or Newtown & then reasses his development after 5 rounds & if his workrate & form is better than Pearce or Maloney then he should be given a FG position in the halves.
Im just not into playing what looks like a pretty good ball player out on the wing or in the centres. I believe he should do some sort of apprenticeship in the 20's or in NSW cup & if he is good enough the opportunity will present itself. If I was a young 1/2 back 5/8 or FB starting out playing professional Rugby league & the coach wanted to play me on the wing I would tell him to give it to a winger & that I only play in the halves or FB.
Mickey listen RTS will never play in the halves he will always be a fullback
Dont forget that ur teams best all rounder as a back should always play fullback
As a fullback he can play as a,,,,,
5/8
Centre
Wing and everything in between
Dont forget his support play and the room he'll have at the back

Option 1: Sign an established Centre.
Option 2: SBW just for a quarter of a season until he get's with the pace of the game (the was an outside back in Yawnion).
Option 3: Tom Symonds
Also barba debut in 2008 on the bench and only untill 2012 he started to blossom
From 2008-2010 he tossed around between the bench wing and 5/8
2011-2012 fullback but only in 2012 he opened up
no matta what position RTS plays his destined for really big things

Moga could be back by the time SBW finds his feet, we have a wealth of forwards at the moment so no problem covering there.
But we still need to sign a goog centre and winger, the scouting should be in overdirve as there should be room under the cap. Its a long year and with rep season, young inexperienced players and injuries we need some depth. Symonds and Aubs are last resorts and SBW will end up in the back row.
