Didn't he have a dislocated hip in 2012? Had a mate who suffered the same injury, took him years to get over it.

    Chook.

        I like this idea too!

I'd estimate he'd be on about $300K. Was in the same Aust Schoolboys side as Pearce. Jennings or no Jennings, the Tigers would be mad to let him go. Mush more likely Ayshford

Centre is a position we've struggled to fill for as long as I can remember
Centre is a position every club has struggled to fill in the past decade or so. You know when people consider players like Lawrence to be on of the best there's not really great depth in that position.

Ayshford is overall a better player than SKD. Shaun might be a better attacking runner, but Blake would edge him in every other category.

Ayshford did have a very poor 2012 season by his standard, which could work to our advantage Re: price.

You really think Lawrence is a great centre Phil?

The guy hasn't done anything for years now and is constantly a liability in defence. The last thing we need to do is pair Maloney with another poor defender. Or let me guess because he's big, strong and looks solid you've just assumed he's a decent defender...

yeah 6, he's such a liability in defence. The Australian selectors are renowned for picking really poor defenders in the centres.

He's had serious injuries the last 2 seasons. Regardless, he's better than any centre we've had in the last 10 years.

But let's not forget 6, you are a Braith man, so we need to consider that when you start assessing players

Given the expectations of centres it's not really surprising is it? Most clubs tend to look for freakish athletes (Moga) or prolific try scorers (SKD), defence is way down the pecking order.

There's still some good defensive centres going around but far less than good attacking centres. Dane Nielsen, Brent Tate, Kane Linnett, Jamie Lyon & Jack Reed spring to mind.

lol the Australian selectors, that'll do me. They've been picking prank sides for years now but so long as they continue to just scrape pass far lesser nations like NZ & England we'll just pretend they know what they're doing.

maybe they could get you in as a consultant 6 to help them see the light?

                                Maybe bring back Braith?
