Another troll we have here and one with NFI but then I repeat myself by using troll and NFI together.

I'm going to venture a guess you are a raiders supporter and if so congratulations on your team's performances this year and how lucky for you to be fortunate enough to have the likes of Dugan, Croker, Waddell and Vidot for season 2010.

Now how about you go back to your own team's forum and celebrate. Run along little troll.

"Winger Naughton, who this year signed a two year contract with the Sydney Roosters, scored two tries..."

"Naughton, who was dropped from the Raiders’ team before the final series last year, said he looked forward to joining the Roosters’ first grade ranks in 2010. “It’s a good opportunity for me. I’m certainly looking forward it, there’s no doubting that,” he said."
I'm not all too sure about this Naughton fella. I just don't think he can cut it in first grade. I see Sandor Earl, Fine Moeakiola and Luke Towers as better prospects than him but I guess O'Sullivan knows what he is doing. I hope he does not turn out to have a first bad season in the top grade like Tuigamala and Waqa have had this year. Although to the kid's credit, he does look promising in the NYC and has been unfortunately stuck behind the likes of Josh Dugan, Drury Low, Jarrod Croker and Daniel Vidot in the Raiders NYC.

He might be replacing Tuigamala, who I don't think is signed on for next year.

I think Tuigamala is still on board with us until end of next season although can get that confirmed. I'd keep Tuigamala over Naughton. How do you rate him Mack? Is he better than what we've got in our NYC and in Waqa and Tuigamala?

He has a good workrate, isn't a tremendous linebreaker but isn't simply an opportunist like a lot of other wingers in NYC (including Tuigamala last year). Naughton makes lots of hard yards too, averages 100+ metres a game.

I think we should re-sign Earl until 2011, that way, both SKD and Earl are off-contract at the end of 2011, and we can choose that year who is the better of the two. We will struggle with having BOTH of them on the wing - we need a real speedster on the other side, but Earl and SKD both play similar ways as high workrate runners and high-ball specialists (although I think SKD has more linebreaking potential).

If Earl is a better prospect then this bloke is a dud.

THE man responsible for evoking the fury of Springboks captain John Smit has warned that rugby league raids on the South African rugby union won't stop.

Smit yesterday said he was concerned after Peter O'Sullivan poached four of the country's most promising young players - and the Roosters recruitment man told Sport Confidential the Springbok's fears were well founded.

"He should be concerned. Because I am not going to stop," O'Sullivan said.

"I'm just going to throw them all on a bus and bring them back to Bondi. This is just the start. There will be an avalanche of them coming to the NRL because they are big, strong, fast, mean and highly educated." And as a bonus for the scandal-hit NRL, he added, "they are also the type of kids you will never have an off-field drama with."

O'Sullivan, the man who recruited Greg Inglis to the Storm, said other NRL clubs would also begin recruitment trips to South Africa.

"There are just so many of them and there isn't anywhere for them to play over there," he said.

"The weather is similar here and our country is a lot safer, so expect to see plenty more taking the trip.

I have visions of O'Sullivan being denied entry to south africa because he is taking RU players away with him.

I have trouble taking that place seriously, I have read too many Tom Sharpe books

                          Very good Red.

Somewhere "Wilt" could quite easily fit into the Roosters season too

The season has been a throwback to the early 90s

I reckon its worse than 66. I bet at least they had a go in 66. Worst of all time ? I dont doubt that at all. The decidedly caramel offerings of our forward pack this year, leads me to believe this.
