  • Heard a rumour

Mate of mine who is close to some of the Dragons players is telling me Jack Bosden is looking to head back there.
Can some one please tell me this isn't true I reckon he is a great player who can add a lot to the side. I'd hate to see him leave as I know the best is yet to come from him.
I know someone on here is close friends with him so if you could squash this rumour it would be awesome.
Like I said, expect big things from him in the coming years. A backrow of Bosden, Cordner and Guerra is a very strong line up after Sonny has his stint here

We have a 1000 back rowers and this guy is nothing special. We are his 2nd club and he's yet to make his mark, so I don't hold high hopes for him at all.

Thats ok headless your entitled to your opinion of him and I respect that.
He has had back or neck injuries the last few years but I rate him and think fully fit is a better player then Aubs

You must not have seen much of him, I cant rate him with the big boys but ilast yr in the NSW cup he was a clear stand out.

Jack Bosden is on his final year of his contract with us.He will have to have a big season with us to warrant a new deal with any pay increase considering the amount of players we have coming off contract.

From what I have seen of Bosden:

                  Pros:
Good motor and size-I think that if he had a stint in the front row he wouldn't go wrong because he has the body to do it. Would be worth persisting with.

Has played well for Reggies- From all reports both he and Morts were the only two who looked like playing first grade last year. Was chosen to play against the Cowboys in Darwin early last year and went missing after that. Wasn't utilised to full potential under smithy, even with his injuries which did not last for as long as some poeple thought.

                  Cons:

Injuries Probably what may bring his downfall. Had a few niggles last year, but earlier in his career has had some major surguries which no one wants early on in their career. Gotta feel for kids like that. Cherro and Simon Dwyer come to mind.
                  Comment of the year:

Andrew Johns, Semi-Final vs North Queensland ,

"It's touched Lui's hand and travelled forward but that's not a knock on"

I havent seen enough of him in first grade, to make a considered comment, but I do have a gut feeling, that given a good run with injuries, and some decent coaching, he might be a good one. As already stated, if he does stay with us this year, the ball is in his court, to work hard, and show the club he is worthy of a new and upgraded contract, for the future. As in all things, only time will tell that.

Not all of us Mickey, I know you like to extend the truth and stir the pot on the odd occasion lol.
Nah, I remember awhile back that someone on here was a close friend of his just cant remember who it was that's all.
I'm waiting for the goat to get on and turn this into a topic about how the panthers can improve there roster next year by signing Dymock to the coaching staff and adding a couple of players from the Dapto Canaries or the Parkes Spacemen to there roster.
