So then what would we do when Moga is fit to play? SKD, Jennings and Moga all centre position players. Is Skiddy the so-called "bad attitude" player that is on his last warning; who may be shifted on??

I still think SKD has a bit of unfinished business here and it would be a shame to see him on the outer if in fact all the rumours are true.

It's be fantastic if SKD had another year like 2010. That young tank that plays right centre for the Warriors seemed to get a lot of good ball last year. Hope Maloney fits into the team and more importantly, a slick backline.

I can only see this happening if SKD gets the boot.
So I guess there is a possibility.
Our lack of depth and uncertainty in the centres is not good.
We may need to use Oldfield as a centre. He did mention in an interview that he was a winger, fullback and centre.

The word from Penrith last week was that he was being shopped around but nobody would accept what they were offering to pay out of the contract. So I hope in the last week it was Penrith who gave ground in the negotiations rather than us. By the sounds of it we'd be paying 500k. If we do sign him let's just cross our fingers that coach Robinson has told Mini to stay the hell out of the backline and stick to being a support player only. Both Maloney and Pearce are very fit men so I think the smartest thing would be to structure the attack with them both on the same side of the ruck. That way Mini is not needed for a sweeping ball ballplaying role which means our centres should receive accurate passes at the appropriate moments and we can get full benefit from Maloney's support play with him moving from one side to the other. Would be a waste to see him play exclusively on the left with SBW most likely to be a right edge forward for the majority of games.

Creaming myself over that RRR! Especially if it happens half way through 2013 when Tau gets back.

On Mini he needs be purely a support player, kick returns and defusing bombs etc and let the kids do dummy half running etc. he should be spending all summer on fielding grubbers learning not to treat the ball like a round about before he picks it up.

If we sign him for that we're crazy. He'd be a decent signing for half of that...
That's about right. I wouldn't pay more than 300-350k for someone like jennings. He is a very risky acquisition, considering he spent a while last year in NSW cup. In fact he was picked for origin straight from the NSW cup team. Hasn't scored many tries for the riff in the last few years either.

But.........he always seems to play well when he is surrounded by quality players (origin). SBW, Pearce, and Maloney will probably get the best out of him. If I were in his shoes, I would make the change to the roosters, as taking a paycut for a couple of years may not be a bad thing in the long term if he improves his game with a fresh start at our joint. If he stays at the riff and continues to play like he is now, when his contract expires he will be worth one figure less than his current pay rate ala Mason.

Lol me 2 it would be an unstoppable backline speed + power on both sides,,,,

also on mini i agree 100% with what ur saying,He has to realise his not that young chook he once was so i think he needs to go back to basics with how he plays & thats more than enough

Surely we have room in our cap... Without having great deal of knowledge on it all I can't see how we could be anywhere near it, especially with the rise. Mose and Leilua gone. Panthers happy pick up a bit of his bill. Can't be that far off accommodating him if indeed he is coming.

Fingers crossed all I can say...
