I never knew Craig Field played for anyone other than Paddinton Colts and he then went on to play for Souths as part of thier full time squad He was always doing kicking practice when I picked my son up from training that is how I know.

Craig played with Paddo Colts with Fletch & others,but played his last 2 years of juniors with Zetland..

His old man Micky had a stink with Mokka Van Hekeran & Craig switched to Zetto..

If this is true, then it is quite clear Jennings has already signed for us.

I think the order of events would have been in December Jennings would have negotiated with us and Souths, and said he will think about it to both of them.

Come back in Jan and signed with us, so Souths moved quickly to get Champion because they must have needed a centre regardless.

I read somewhere (I think LU) that it was only sponsor issues that needed to sorted out before an announcement was made as there is some clash between his personal sponsors and our sponsors.

All this is just my 2 cents though....

When was the last time we signed 3 significant players in one off season?
Brian Smith must be pissed off cause even he could have done well with these blokes in his side.

I also reckon that Oldfield will be a very successful signing for us. Speed to burn, utility value, keen for a first grade opportunity and he's not a dwarf like previous wingers who have played for us. I am expecting big things from Oldfield this year. More than anything he should be a safe option for us on the wing unlike the fumbling slow coach Ferrett.

I was told this morning whilst I was at the club that they would not have released BJ if they didn't have Jennings to replace him.
I have no doubt at all that Jennings will be playing for the Roosters this year.

Expect a big season from SKD or it could be see you later when his contract is up. He is signed till the end of next season I believe, but that does not mean anything these days.

Can't agree 13. South's have plenty of quality and have built well. Their forward pack is awesome. That young and tall backrower was dynamite last year. In saying that, I still hate them.

SKD like all players wants to win a comp. Having a class player like MJ will help him achieve this. They also play on different sides of the field. I don't think SKD will be crapping bricks.....
I think the players will be very happy to welcome MJ.
