1) In short-no. The distribution of salaries and contract length (eg zillman for 5 years) is a reflection of Searle's influence on the club as well as Cartwrights approach to winning a premiership. Why he has been given another chance we are unsure. He has his favourites, and puts his faith in players which consistently fail to deliver and perseveres with them. One of the main problems is our youth development and considering there is such talent in the area (high school kids etc), it really is frustrating. Some of them get pinched sure, but it is these players which we need to put more effort into retaining and developing. Our under 20s was a shambles in 2012.

2) Yeah we really need to address halfback and fullback. Sezer should stay at 6 and I would imagine Albert Kelly will get the 7 jersey. Risky move I know and call it ignorance, but maybe some fresh direction is what we need after Prince's departure. We will have a first grade recognised playmaker come 2014 in Aidan Sezer.
You're right about Srama, he has a bright future and hopefully will be at the club long term.
Fullback is the position we're struggling with. IMO Zillman needs to go...oh thats right, he was signed for 5 ****ing years. We have youthful options which need to be given a shot asap because Zillman just isn't what a first grade fullback needs to be. Marmin Barba, Matty Russell, David Mead or Mark O'dare will all be putting pressure on Zillman this year and I see him losing the spot tbh.

2013 will be a rebuilding year, a "trial" year if you will. With new playmakers and plenty of youth in key positions we should at least be able to play some entertaining footy-something we couldn't do in 2012.

I haven't seen much of him playing but I've heard he's the goods. Injury has been harsh on him but hopefully he can recover 100% and put on a bit of size, 2014 will be his year I think.

Yeh mate, he is a gun player he is alot faster than Barba when they were at the same weight. But obviously not anymore.

Give him a couple of years and add some more kilos on him he should blossom into a great player!!
