You cannot knock Friend's commitment and constant effort. But in saying this, he offers zero in attack.

The reason why friend's attacking was great then was because he had Conn and Myles doing all the tackling and he could just attack. He had very little defensive help last year!

I don't think his attack was great then either.. He was average and the rest of the team was worse, possibly partly because of his awful service.

oh i remmber the second easts vs souths game of 2010, round 16 or somewhere therabouts.
beau champion came out during the weekend, dissing our club, and then with only moments to go in the game, with his team in front, champion gave away a penalty which led to aubusson crashing over and winning the game for the roosters.
now that i look back at that, i realise that penalty essentially got us to the grand final.

That was the same article Champion was going about Roosters having no culture unlike the spirit at Souffs who look after each other .....by the next season, Souffs had realeased him to make way for Inglis !
