2013 Roosters Captain to be announced today at 1pm

Roosters are going to announce their captain for 2013.

Minichello is favourite.

I would rather we go with Co-captains though. I personally dont like having co-captains but I think it is the only option. Facts are;

- Mini is in his last year, I would rather give the captaincy to someone who will play alongside our younger team for several years (Have him in the leadership group and maybe as a co captain tho)
- Apart from mini we dont have anyone with a great deal of experience (no one really over 25)

Id like to see the co captaincy share between the likes of Mini, Pearce, Maubs, JWH and possibly SBW (may give him incentive to behave and stay for more than a year).

yeah i agree, mini's last year and if his2012 form is taken into account he may not
hold down a place in our starting line -up.
would be like gidley captaining the blues from the bench, just can't work ..

Id like to see Pearce eventually there, but he is too young at the moment and still needs time to get on top of his own game before taking on this responsibility.

Actually I wouldn't be surprised if either JWH or Kennedy got the gig. I think I would be OK with that decision.
