i can see mini as an honest captain who if performing poorly will pass the batton on. i dont see him to have enough aggression in him for a captain though.

I dont get the bagging its a carnt act imo, he has been a loyal servant and produced magic over the yrs and won many games for us off his own back. Loyalty is a two way street!
Mini is the only one that qualifies for the long serving player allowance of 300k so he costing us about nothing off the cap, do ppl actually believe that he does not add value as a freebee? especially considering we have no depth in the back line!

I think its classic when we cry for loyalty but when its our turn we are ready to throw out our own in the trash. You tell me who should have been captain? Can you also explain to me how he offers no value and who is he keeping out by being there?

Congrats Mini.
Really there were no other candidates for the role. My opinion was it should have been JWH and it may be next year. Who knows - no one on this forum attends all the training sessions.
4 VCs allows others to aspire, develop their leadership qualities and learn from Mini.
Unlike Braiff, Mini may, as captain, put the team ahead of his own desires and aspirations and volunteer for the wing, once be believes RTS is ready.
Finally, with Mini leading us onto the field, all our games will not start on time.
