2013 Roosters Captain to be announced today at 1pm

Mini has earned this honour...congrats to him...we are destined for a good year and may he reap the rewards the captaincy brings.

IMO the skipper is a figurehead mostly...the front man of the gig. He is not the major determinant of how successful we are...esp with a core leadership group.

Mini has respect...right across the RL spectrum...someone our young guys hold in high regard...that's why he got the gig.

I've constantly stated that i want to move forward..

Mini as captain,at best,is standing still,more likely going backwards..He is done..He can't break the line,& when the ball is on the ground he is almost comical..

His speed is also nothing like what it was..

I'm sick of re-building,& doing things for players because they are legends of the club..

I want us to win..

I'm sick of the club being farking irrelevant..

We've just made the best buy since Freddy in $BW & it is a possibility that he'll only be here for one year,so to waste that time by making purely sentimental decisions is insanity..

I'd bitten the bullet and gone for the Pearce/Cordner co-captains..

That enough discussion for ya??..

I know the guy personally FFS..He is one of the best people you would ever meet..Great,great person..

And he WAS one hell of a player..
