Sydney Roosters coach Trent Robinson admits it would be exciting to have Michael Jennings join the tricolours but he's not sweating on which NRL club the Penrith star decides to join.
Jennings is believed to be weighing up offers from the Roosters and Gold Coast with a decision expected any day from the NSW State of Origin speedster.
Robinson admitted on Friday the Roosters expressed interest in Jennings a few weeks ago.
There have been suggestions the Bondi Junction club was sweating on the star's decision after releasing centre BJ Leilua and losing three-quarter Tautau Moga for half the season to a knee injury.
"We're not in a rush. We're OK with the squad that we've got," Robinson said.
"We've obviously let BJ Leilua go from the club because of the way we want to move forward as far as discipline goes and with Tatau Moga as well having an ACL injury.
"We've probably dropped two centres and that's why we've been looking at trying to replace that.
"We're happy if we go into the season the way we are and, if we can find a quality centre, we'll look for one as well. We've got room with Mose Masoe leaving as well and Jennings fits that mould.
"Obviously if something (Jennings) like that comes up, then we're very excited as a club to have a quality centre like that as well."
