I have been challenged by a former Penrith player (lower grades) to come up with the best Roosters team since 1970. However, it has to be all local juniors. So far I have;

I have this argument with mates all the time. I say if you come here to play Harold Matts or Flegg then your pretty much a roosters junior in my opinion, so I class mini in that category

This is off the top of my head and I'll admit that there are some players that are less than Superstars. I've also included juniors that never actually played for Easts like Field, Dymock etc. there Are more...look through the player list in the book "From where the sun rises" and that will have more.
