thats what i thought, TLR, it confuses me too.
the only thing i can think of is that SKD is scared of moga coming back in the latter half of 2013, demanding a centre position, and skids is scared its gonna be him.
IMO, moga has a good 3 or 4 years before he starts to FULFILL his potential, let alone peak. which is long enough for jeenings to have his time here, then move on when moga is ready

A centre that runs forward. Looking forward to that. Can only help SKD.

Ahh, good points all kegs1, hadn't considered that aspect of the situation.
Well, if it puts a rocket under Sean, then I guess Jennings' arrival is a good thing.

its either gonna do one of two things, IMO.
first option is that it will put a rocket up his arse. he'll train hard and have some friendly competition with jennings to be the 'better' centre.
second option is that SKD is gonna crack the sh*ts, and demand a release to a club where he is guaranteed a spot. hopefully he isnt that far up himself

He's pretty slow judging by that highlights reel.

I wonder if he's ever had a session with Roger Fabri. It'd be like tuning a sprint car.

I sure hope so - even if he were to have a massive year this year, he is too inconsistent and his money could be better spent retaining young players (bosden in particular would really benefit and imo has far more to offer) or help us clear the decks for another forward with a bit more consistency.

Im extremely pleased with this signing - both our edges now have great balance - Jennings & Moga; SKD & RTS (size and power coupled with speed, footwork and skills) playing outside 2 halves who individually have plenty of ability and provide great service to their outside men. Behind a pretty decent young pack, we will seriously be a force. Its the perfect list for a young coach who is focused on structure and defence because we now have the players with the individual ability to keep defences guessing and retain a bit of unpredictability and strike power which can often be lost when teams become too structured.

I can't remember the last time we had a Squad as good as this one. 04' comes to mind.
