Dont forget the side he inherited in 02. I know this a slightly diff situation but there sure has been a lot of stones laid in place for a solid result. Shit, with the roster weve got now, even the Goat or Mickey could coach us to the finals.
But not MRIHK.Comment of the year:

That is scary good. I seriously cant remember a backline that good and that has to be our strongest, most well balanced squad since the early 2000s when we were so strong. Think about all the guys who were regular first graders (and even starters last year) that dont feature in that 17 - tupou, oldfield, seluini, mortimer, Takiarangi, bosden, symonds. Bring it on

- Oh.. and Ted Helliar. I know I keep going on about him, but he actually is the Rooster's best recent signing.

Only worry is who is, or how is team going to reduce friends work load in defence.. It's only way he will increase his effectiveness out of dummy half (decrease his defensive work load, and the forwards give him go forward). Needs to be JWH, Kennedy and reserve forwards when they are on. Guerra and SBW are not tackling machines. Cordner?
