When we are scoring 30 points almost every week Everyone will be in love with Jake Friend and his 50 tackles per match
I have a feeling you're right, Mr Walker.

whilst were all getting excited about the attacking potency we will have next year, i hope robbo works on a goal line defence and brutality while we hold the opposition in their own red zone. two aspects of defence i think we lacked last year

thats robbos strength as a coach - structure and defence thats why signings like SBW and jennings are all the more exciting as they are the sorts of players that can lift a well structured side to the next level by adding that layer of unpredictability and x-factor

Please have pride in the jersey & be a team player, watch your off field activities, because a certain RL commentator with cardinal coloured cheeks, will be on your arse from the minute you turn up at Moore Park, he'd love to do a Carney on you & see you at the Guppies, so enjoy the East but please respect the club & it's glorious history, good luck.
              Beautiful, B.A.... Just beautiful.

interesting times, do we still need to sign a name prop? imagine how brian smith must be feeling watching these big names now signing on at easts?

I wouldnt mind seeing us replace FPN with a prop with a bit of experience/who is seasoned to really stiffen us up the middle but that said, I dont mind seeing us try and let the young talents we have establish a pack of their own.

no, i think were set for squads and signings.
prop stocks currently sit at jwh, kennedy starting; moa, tasi bench; evans, napa rotation and ailomai if needed.
fpn can be released for cap space as far as im concerned

Brian Smith junior - I have forgotten his name
                        Matthew Elliott
                        Mose Masoe
                        BJ Leilua

That is a lot of crap no longer with us.
Don't forget Sam Perrett, worlds slowest winger.

no that title belongs to skinny byrne. scott sattler can back me up on that one.
i didnt think perret was that slow. perrett ran past matai in the round 25 game against manly in 2010. he made him look like he was going backwards

FPN is a waste of space and having SBW's brilliance will only allow him to hide even more. He played 19 games last year for an average of 16 tackles and 10 hit-ups; and this is as a lock/second rower! Out of all players in 2012, he sits 172nd for tackles and 165th for hit-ups; sitting behind players like: Sione Lousi, Joseph Paulo, Clint Newton, Cameron Ciraldo (just to name a few). Cordner and Guerra are streaks ahead of him.

Probably get a few people who disagree with me but I reckon our 2010 recruitment was better.

Still it's a solid team we've put together, how we go will depend a lot on how much of their potential the youngsters can realise this season and if they can start turning that into consistent performances.

2010 was a good recruitment year, but what happened to them?
Conn... forced retirement due to injury
                                Linnett... Cowboys
                                Carney... Sacked
                                Leilua... Sacked
                                Graham... Titans

I think JWH is the only player still with us, which is a shame, because I'm a fan of Conn/Linnett/Graham/Carney.
