  • Note to POS, Beale wants to play RL

Man I would love Kurtley Beale at the Roosters, I reckon he'd be a natural League 5/8th, how many years did we sign James Maloney for? I'm still looking forward to seeing how James goes this year, he's going to be a huge step up from Braith, but the prospect of seeing Beale in the RW&B would be mouth watering!! Start the talks POS, get the handshake agreement Nick, do whatever it takes men!

I have always thought Beale would cut it in League Has similar qualities to Andrew Walker

Came from a league background playing all his junior footy at west city tigers. I'd say Penrith would be keen to snap him up too. I know they put the feelers out when his last contract was up.
He would go pretty good in league at 1 or 6 I think

Pretty sure most clubs would want him, that's why we need to get in early with the handshake!

Yeah I don't think Beale is anywhere near Walkers league. Handy player well suited to Penrith. I'll take Maloney with our roster the way it is.

                    **** Beale, he's rubbish!

We're building a half decent squad for a change, no need to go **** it up by throwing bullshit money at an average union player and losing a couple of young toilers.

                      Yep.
Current day Union tends to make good players look brilliant. Most will be found lacking when put to the test. There are exceptions but few & far between imo.

our attack should improve 10 fold...even if we didnt sign jennings and williams....but even though he didnt show it often, anastopolous could defend when he wanted to..maloney cant, so we now need to give him a body guard , as beau scott was for soward, ...but with the size of our forwards we can afford that....also people are going to be hitting ALOT harder in defense this year, to compensate for the outlawed shoulder charge...this should benefit teams like us

Absolutely bang on. Why would we want to take a gamble on a bloke like this?

I was pissed off when we signed Sonny Jim, but Beale would probably have me throwing the season pass in the shredder.

Beale is an exceptional talent. Leave him in union though; he's too fragile for league.
