Came from a league background playing all his junior footy at west city tigers. I'd say Penrith would be keen to snap him up too. I know they put the feelers out when his last contract was up.
He would go pretty good in league at 1 or 6 I think

I believe he would be a huge success.Is not afraid to go to the line, ball play or break tackles (plus excellant kicking game)With the extra space of league would really come into his own. I am a fan of Maloney, I know he would cost more but I think Beale would make Maloney seem pedestrian. Just my opinion but would chase him hard.
