We were the best team in the comp in '99 before he got hurt against the Merge..I think it was the last game of the regular season..

Then we lose both semi's we would've won easily with him in the side..

His defensive reads at fullback were the under rated part of his game IMO..

And all the attention he took off Freddy..

Just asking the question, how many blokes on here who are bagging Beale were all for signing that turd Quade?
I believe he would do well in the NRL but I don't want to sign him. I hope POS has his eye on a couple of 16 yr old half and 5/8 that we can develop over the coming yrs.

We have in our ranks atm a young player who could be a world beater at 5/8.He reminds me so much of benji marshall at his age no wonder benji made sure that he would play for the kiwis and not turn into a qldlander or a newsouthwelshman lol.Look forward to seeing the kid with a no6 on his back for the roosters in years to come.

There was discussions with Beale's management and the Roosters regarding this several years ago (3-4 years maybe??). At that time I remember Beale being very interested in a code switch.

Although he would be good, we don't really need him anymore with our current squad looking pretty strong. But saying that I wouldnt mind seeing how he goes with another team
