As a matter of interest, just got home from a meeting at the 'Dogs.

There is doubt about the story and the cops don't have any details on it. There was an incident on the Bankstown line and, at this stage, no evidence that football supporters, let alone Bulldog supporters, were involved.

The club are pursuing further information.

Oh it happened ive seen the incident report and spoken to the guard that was on the train, it happens every football game, the guys are bulldogs supporters and they are lebanese, thats not being racist, its fact, i ve worked trains and every time the train is wrecked by these grubs, if your mob really think there is doubt about the story i suggest they head down to Flemington train depot and interview guards and ask them their experiances, id suggest they ask the maintenace manager about the number of trains these pricks destroy.

They should be treated as terrorists, tampering with a trains brakes is exactly that, operating the emergancy brake with the train running at speed can cause it to derail, a tragedy is waiting to happen.

kicking out windows and throwing seats out is downright dangerous, pricks like these will forever drag down the lebanese community and the decent hardworking people in it.

So please dont patronise us with "their are doubts about the story", the "club is investigating"

The serious underlying issue here is Football hooliganism is on the rise and is more widespread then people think. It is not limited to the Bulldogs even tho they get 90% of the attention. I have peronsally seen it from the Warrior fans, Stains fans about 6 times, Penrith fans and Souths fans and brisbane fans. And im talking groups of people going hot fighting people just for looking at them.

"Lebanese" born and raised in Australia are in fact Australian. It irks me when we class them as ethnic when there is trouble but claim them as our own when a good deed is performed. Maree Bashir, the State's Governer General - Is she "Lebanese". I'm sure she will tell you she is Australian

My parents were born in Lebanon. Migrated to Australia when they were young. They married here and raised all their children in this country. They don't forget their heritage but ask them and they'll tell you that they are Australian. Same with my siblings and myself.

The one thing I love about the multi cultural pot of Australia is when I see someone of ethnic descent that has an Aussie accent. That is very cool.
