An interseting question to ask with regards to future investment and players contracts:
Which player/s would be most valuable within 5 yrs of football and list them in order of value to the team (highest to lowest).
Players: Pearce, RTS, Evans, Moga, Napa, Cordner, And Friend.
For me it's
Cordner, RTS, Pearcey, Napa, Evans, Friend, Moga.
I would rate Napa ahead of Evans simply because of his Physic and he has a good Motor. Eavns is tall and has bulked up, but he seems to have a frame similar to a backrower and may not stay in the front row in the future.Comment of the year:
Andrew Johns, Semi-Final vs North Queensland ,
"It's touched Lui's hand and travelled forward but that's not a knock on"

We have a classic example in Mini at the club. At the top of his game, destin to dominate and be the best FB of his generation, then boom a back injury and along comes a kid named Slater with a few blokes like Stewart and Inglis and revolutionize the FB position. Mini returns a shadow of the player he once was and to find the game and the FB position has passed him by while he was injured.
IMO Jennings isn't in Lyons class and may never be. I hope he gets that good but Lyon has been there and done that, Jennings hasn't as yet. Different players also. Jennings is an athlete, Lyon is a footballer. Lyon is as good at breaking the line as he is at creating for other players. Jennings isn't known for his sleight of hand or his footy brain, the kid can fly though, that's for sure.
IMO if anything Jennings could be rocks or diamonds, Lyon is like a fine old pearl necklace, just needs a polish before the season and he cums good.
The FlogPen .
You know it makes sense.

Totally agree with what your saying though. Jamie Lyon is a true footballer. One of those blokes who seems to have time on his hands whenever he gets the footy. Those blokes are few and far between so I'd take a 30 yr old Lyon any day
