Apart from that, the salary cap restraints do not directly effect those with the largest salaries but mostly our more junior players. Tamou, winterstein, etc. Players who we don't give enough faith to and instead we persist with over paid prima donnas like Mason, Anasta, etc.
who is quentin? and if i remember correctly, we let go of shillo because he was poor with us, and he wasnt living up to his potential. now he is killing it for canberra

Shillo was let go to make way for O`meally and Mason.
The Faiders offered him $350 k a year which we simply could not match.
Shillo was filthy to leave us at the time...

Not sure I agree with you that he is killing it in the capital. Playing more consistent yes, excelling at origin yes and test level because he is playing with unbelievable players around him. Still, should never have let him go imo

In hindsight you're probably right about Shillo but there's no way in the world he was worth that when we let him go. I remember him being pretty soft and very inconsistent. Losing Tamou is the one that really hurts!!

As good as Tamou is, there's no way any prop is worth the money he's reportedly on.

Yeah I guess you're right Greedy. And I'm not complaining about our forward pack, very excited to see how they perform this season. Also looking forward to seeing how Kane Evans goes when gets his chance in first grade.

I think there were other circumstances with the departure of Cross.
