NSW Emerging squad

Went down to stay at Crowne plaza @ Coogee at the weekend with the family and was lucky enough to be there when the NSW emerging squad was staying for their 3 day camp what a great bunch of blokes they are really great to talk to and were more than happy to pose for photos with my son and i. Shared a lift with Laurie Daley and wished him all the best for this year and was really upbeat about winning it this year and a great guy as well. NOW for the best bits before we left i packed my "FITTLER FILES" 2012 for a bit of a read around the pool well the next person i see in the foyer is FREDDY!!! as being on the coaching staff 2013 all the coaches were there Dymock , Mary Mcgregor etc and still SH!@%^ing myself asked if he could sign my book and grab a quick photo with him "yeah mate no probs" i had my roosters cap on and had a quick chat about the chooks and off he went WHAT A LEGEND! (photo is going straight to the pool room!!!).Also spotted Boyd Cordner at the bar with the whole squad and went over and said hello and another photo. Super impressed by this guy was really suprised by the vice captains role and was confident a great season is to come with our youth, SBW and Jennings this bloke is a born leader and was estacic with signing on for a few more years with us and was a really proud rooster but a QUALITY person....

isnt it funny how grown men turn into 16yr old girls when it comes to meeting sports people.

I went and saw viv richards, joel garner and michael holding in november at a small cocktail party. i got photos with all of them and signed hats and books. great blokes, great stories and very willing to chat to all. im just over 6ft but the pjoto next to garner make me look like a oompa loompa.

yeh it is very weird , when us grown men line up for a signature, (for the son of course), a chat and a picture (for the daughter).

i went to the pre season draft(afl) on the gold coast the year before last and it was a closed room for the teams/managaer/coaches, and we all sat(4oo0 ppl)looking down on them and the preceedings.
after it was all done and dusted and we were leaving, the door was open which lead to the floor where these guys were. so myself , my very timmed mate and his daughter waltzed in. i had pictures with alister clarkson, and chatted for a good 20 mins, had a gatorade with maulthouse, spoke to paul roos, jack swollow (number 1 draft pick) and of course jason dunstall for a chat.
