  • Do you want SBW to win his fight?

He reckons he'll quit if he loses.
I want him to be successful cause he is a Rooster but on the other hand I want his full commitment.
Also if he was to lose he may get injured.

Id prefer he lose, break a hand, play five bad games for the chooks just so all the haters on here can say i told you so.

seriously i hope he wins, failure may put him in a bad state of mind, if he wins then he will feel that he now also needs to succeed in the nrl to put all his doubters in check. if he has two decent fights a yr after league season id be happy.

He's a Leo like me and we don't take kindly to losing at anything. I agree with the above poster regarding failure putting him into a bad state of mind. I wish him well because he is a Rooster now but I have no interest in any other sport or team, just us and our results are all that concerns me.

I would take any boxers talk of retirement with a grain of salt. If he loses and did retire it would probably make it harder for us to re-sign him as this fight helps us get him on a cheaper contract.

As long as he doesn't get injured.

Would be happy to see him forget the boxing and just focus on football though.

I def want him to win I think it suits us totally. It allows him to gain extra cash and us to sign him for less allowing us to keep an extra player. If he fights once a yr say late November it wont affect us or his season prep.

I think the last thing we need is for it to go the distance stephen......I'd rather it be over in 1 or 2 either way.
