Dismissing an 18 year old because he was often found out in a woeful side is ridiculous. He's got a long way to go.

A lot of the decision making comes with experience and being able to work on a combination with your inside and outside defenders.

If he was to play on the wing, I believe it should only be temporary.
Wingers today need to be able to compete for the high ball consistantly.
I don't know if Moga has those skills or even the physical attributes to gain them.
He's a fast, explosive, powerful runner. So I wouldn't be wasting my time in putting him on the wing just to have him in first grade.
He's contracted for a couple more years, let him do his thing in the reggies at centre and see if he can make it impossible for Robinson NOT to pick him for firsts.

We have seen them all before in recent years the next best big superstar at our club from Israel Folau's brother to the country superstar who never played firsts with us to the South African Rugby Union diamond in the rough.

I agree with most that his on line defence last year left a lot to be desired but it is ridiculous to basically write off a 19 year old because his attitude in defence was not up to scratch in his first year of league. I'm a big believer that the right motivation can improve a young player's attitude immensely. Last year Brian Smith had bigger expectations of him than most on this forum and didn't hold back from letting Tau know that. You could tell that he was expected to dominate in attack when the structures were not in place for that to happen. It was terrible coaching all season. I can barely remember him getting the ball inside the oppositions 10m. The frustration that caused reflected poorly in his defensive mindset. By the time he returns he will be a year older, better defensive and hopefully offensive structures will be in place and we will see examples of his raw talent far more frequently. He has the potential to be a far better player than SKD in every aspect I believe, so I really do hope we can find room for him come the end of 2014. If I was a betting man I'd wager that 2014 will be SBW's last year with us so I think thats where the cap space will come from.

Hi Yak,
I was referring to the outrageous hype that followed these players. TauTau Moga is being referred to amongst our Chook Pen peers as the next Greg Inglis which is awful. I watch enough of the two Sydney Roosters teams and the Newtown Jets to know that TauTau has a long way to go before he is in position to make any sort of demands. He is far too young and unproven to spoken about in the same breath as proven Rugby League stars. I do not think it is much to ask for these players to earn their respect and position within the team.
PS.
I vividly remember TauTau Moga costing our NYC Toyota Cup team a victory by refusing to pass the ball to an unmarked support player after making a break from a scrum.
Justin Carney was a great Toyota Cup player as well.
Have a nice day, even if you are a prick.
