I wish I had one of those Save Ferris t-shirts.
He was the guest MC at the Paladium event in 07 at The Titts old Carrara Stadium. Great buzz to meet him personally.
The Anzac Day ideas sound great.
Respec OldBoy.
The FlogPen .
You know it makes sense.

I loved this gentleman so much. He picked me out of the crowd on Anzac Day in 2010 as I was right down the front, being a lone Rooster amongst a sea of Dragons fans. He told me I was a brave young lady for sitting amongst them..RIP Mr Ashton. Vale, Ferris.
I recall returning from a Wallabies match on the train from Homebush. He was sitting opposite with his wife. They were both very much in love. A true gentleman and an entertainer.
If we could all represent the club as Ferris did. In his own way and always serving the club with passion and his warm heart.

Originally posted by Big Arty View PostSome great suggestions from you guys, particularly like the Ferris Ashton Stand with Lest we forget on the bottom for the Anzac Day game. Also someone suggested a game with another club being played for the Ferris Ashton Cup, I'd quite like the Manly v Easts game be played for the Ashton Mossop Cup, it'd be just like the old days with Ferdie & Moose neither giving an inch.
Well played Ferdie, you will not be forgotten, a true Easts man.

It will be even sadder day at the Anzac Day game this year, not seeing Ferdie at the pre game ceremony !
A true Rooster, and red white and blue through and through.
RIP Ferris.
