I would have rathered they got rid of Cherro or Symonds instead of Taka.

They released the best one of the bunch.

    Strange.

        Strange.
They may have told all of them to feel free to look else where and he may have been the first one to find another club as he is the best out of the lot ??

An excellent question Danish and one that genuinely perplexes me. I put it down to the old incriminating photos explanation - the same reason I've used to rationalise the ever present Mini.

fingers crossed this transit lounge of an offseason comes to an end soon, while we have got players coming and going all over the place the vermin scum are sitting back and tinkering with virtually the same side as last year.

                    No big loss.

His ball-playing ability was only highlighted because he never hit the line hard enough. His mindset was always pass, even prior to contact. Good ball playing backrowers always hit the line hard, then look for the option pass.

He was a handy back-up but that's all.

Who was that bloke he ironed out with a shoulder charge off a twenty restart? That was my favourite Taka moment.

And by default gives great incentive to Napa and Evans.

I'm also glad we kept Maubs over Taka

And in Taka and BJ, two of the players who took part in the dumbest defensive play in history when they let the vermin go the length of the field to win ast year. If you put those 2 blokes together, you wouldn't be able to make a good defender.

Couldn't agree more Danish. The bloke had potential in 2008 when he was young and injury free, but it's now 2013, he's aged 5 years, his knees are shot and he has played very little footy for a few years. If he survives the trials without sustaining a major injury it will be a surprise to me.

If there is a player who I'd be desperate to punt before the trials start it would be this bloke. I understand he is on a basic salary, but even that's more than he's worth, espec when he's been paid it for the past few years without contributing.

He appears to be the club's charity case, and he doesn't bloody deserve that honour. He should have been put on the free market long ago.

I doubt that he would get a run in FG with Titans, they are pretty strong in second rowers.
There's a reason why the young and idealistic become the old and cynical.

2013 will be Cherro's 'breakout' season!
