1) League has always had underworld links.
2) Leaguies gamble their balls off.
3) Everybody does or has tried drugs.
4) Performance enhancing drugs are rife in every sport.

I know for a fact the use of performance enhancers go back to the late 80s-early 90s at least. And I mean club wide programs.

I won't mention clubs but it shouldn't be too hard to work out if you watched the change in body types across certain clubs of that era.

As for social drugs it's not as bad as it was in the late 90s-early 00s surely??? Anyone who is from the Eastern Subs will know what I mean.

This will be very interesting.
How will the ARLC handle the possibility of high profile players/coaches/commentators being implicated.

Can someone give it to me in layman's terms what is going on here. I have been outa the picture for a while. How has this come about? Why do I keep reading manly and Cronulla being involved? And why is it big enuf to strip titles? I was under the impression that clubs thought they were entitled to go down that path. I am obviously wrong tho.

Stsae is just one many in the anti-News corner Tony. Apparently they are to blame for everything that is wrong and sordid with league and sport in general.

Yes, there are some dodgy individuals involved in their worldwide companies but you can say that about each and every company in existence, especially media companies!

Not sure how News can be to blame for the current investigation as to my knowledge they have no business investments in yawnion, AFL or soccer etc but I'm sure someone on here will be able to enlighten me.
