  • GREAT IDEA!!! Pre game panel show at every Roosters home game

In 2013, we are changing the whole game day experience for our fans. We’ve taken note of what fans want and, this season, we will deliver rich football pre-game, half time and post-game content LIVE at the ground for those in the stands.
Taking a leaf out of the NFL, we are adopting a new pre-game panel show that is all about the football and even more so, all about your beloved Roosters.
Hosted by former Rooster and radio personality, Jimmy Smith and including two special guests each week – including the likes of Brad Fittler, Luke Ricketson and other legends of our great club – GAME DAY LIVE will bring you in depth expert analysis at all of our home games.
Filmed on a news desk, from the Allianz turf, the 30 minute pre-game show will be live on the big screen and deliver weekly content including sportsbet.com.au pricing, game preview, team announcements, social media interaction, player and celebrity interviews, fan engagement competitions and loads more.

Yeh it's an awesome idea, better than the re-runs they'd show of the season promo for 3 minutes.

I became very excited when I read this on the official website. The likes of my 3 favourite Roosters together on a panel is enough to make me want to reach for the smelling salts..

Exactly what I was going to say Horrie.

No good if we can't hear the thing !
Theres always been that interview with an assistant coach before the game ...most of the time I can never hear what is being said.

This is a pretty good idea ...but please fix the PA first !

So I'm going out to the footy to watch more TV? Is that the idea?

I preferred that year they had Roosters fan Brett Ogle hitting golf balls between the posts...

I'd rather the NYC was organised to finish just 10 minutes before the first grade game starts so we can just get on with the footy.
I'm not interested in hearing all the old cliches that you know we will hear. There's nothing Brad Fittler, Ricko or any other Roosters legend can tell me in the lead up to a game that I won't already know.

Broncos have been doing this for awhile now - helps fill in the time.
There's a reason why the young and idealistic become the old and cynical.
