true. for all robbo is hyped about his defence and structure, it doesnt look like he has managed to change SKD's technique.

its like in school how you dont pass to the sh*t kid
They didn't give Morris any ball either.

Reynolds just doesn't have much to his game other than kicking and short tap-ons. I was surprised when Freddy was talking up his ball playing early in the game... not sure why he can't or doesn't display it in the games.

I think this kid is in for a rough year and hopefully so are LOL@50uffs
        Comment of the year:

Andrew Johns, Semi-Final vs North Queensland ,

"It's touched Lui's hand and travelled forward but that's not a knock on"

Defence is about defending in groups more than individually. O'neill's reads in defence were laughable especially when robinson scored that last try.

I will reserve judgment for robbo's defensive style until I see all our boys play and not just our worst individual defender. Hopefully Cordner is playing on skid's inside next season.

i would assume Cordner will be playing inside skids, he needs him to be there.

yes it looks like reynolds, the souff sydney savior, CAN'T dominate unless he has a half decent forward pack in front of him. just on the halves, marshall is overrated IMO. he has talent, and he tries hard, but he has only shone when he's had a decent half with him (prince 05).

He was awful, he's looked that way since the start of 2011. Just doesn't look interested at all. We all know he can be a weapon but he has to show a bit more than he did tonight come Round 1.

It's a concern when you've been n first grade for 7 years and still can't tackle I hope Robbo has him on notice this year.

NRL Allstars halves have been woeful, Reynolds especially.
The all stars halves have been pretty non existant all night, Thurston and Prince were just too good although handling by the all stars was abysmal. Jennings would have been a better choice over SKD , seems he still hasn't got the crab running out of his game. All in all a pretty poor effort by the All Stars.

Im hardly surprised - there is nothing spectacular about reynolds. As Ive been saying for years, the pearce detractors merely suffer from a severe case of "grass-is-greener" syndrome

                        I couldn't agree more.

He will need to wake up or his spot could be gone.

                          I didn't see the game.

I have never rated his defence & probably never will but I rate his attack & his ability to worry opposition defences, he can be a handful.

His strength is his crab like awkward running style that hopefully leads to more tries than what he lets in through his sus defence.

He's basically treading water until Moga returns as far as I see it. Moga to return on the right wing and gradually push SKD out of his centre position. Skiddy was a great finisher on the wing anyway.

Pound for pound the worst defender in the NRL.

He will have to score at least 17 tries this season to make up for the ones he lets in.

It's more to do with Bennetts coaching style, he preferred to play the game from dummy half, Cameron Smith was taking charge from the first minute. The all stars halves were kept out of the game for the first 20minutes and then changed twice through the game, a very silly move by coach Bennett, halves need to be involved from the kickoff and shouldn't be replaced.
