which players were not part of the shambles? Over those two years i dont think one player escapes any criticism.

I agree there aren't many but there has to be self accountability. I can't cop that individuals are not responsible. Individuals are what make up the club as a collective. No point blaming everybody else. Have some self pride.

I do not understand this excuse of "the club was in shambles" in regards to player performances. If the club was so bad on the field - which it was - then those individuals should rightly be put on notice by the coaching team and possibly even moved on. You can not excuse a players individual effort by blaming a poor team when a team is poor due to individual effort.

He did nothing before because he was stuck out on the wing playing out of his natural position and last year he was hit with several bad injuries, but when he was playing was our only dangerous player out wide.

So you think he is a natural centre? Bad injuries, my arse. When he wasn't injured he still played like a busted arse. SKD is the Rowan Atkinson of centres.

Needs to lift this year, otherwise he may be lifting his back-pack and looking for another club.

He is one of my favourite players, in saying that, he had a very ordinary year in an ordinary team and definitely needs to improve this year or have his contract paid out.

SKD is the worst defensive centre in the game. For years some have been saying that he needs time and the right structures to learn how defend. He has exactly the same tackling technique as he did when he first started and he is dyslexic when it comes to reading defence. His defence will never improve to NRL standard. Yes he can find the line but he stuffs up just as many opportunities with his poor handling and poor decision. He won't play for Newtown because we are paying him $400K+. I hope the club finally wakes up to his inadequacies the next time his contract comes up or even release him early. We could save a few bucks for someone far better. Now that we have Jennings and Moga, I can't see any reason for SKD from 2014. If SKD, Mini and FPN weren't here this year I'd be confident of winning the comp. Unfortunately they will all be in the 17 every round.

He played centre in our lower grades and when he got to 1st grade he was shunted onto the wing. If you have a gun young centre playing him on the wing is the wrong way to go imho.

                    SKD
75 tries in 122 games is a pretty good strike rate

Jennings has played the same amount of career games by coincidence and only has 71 tries

Have you got their stats on letting tries in and bombed tries?

Good post i agree totally with you.The 3 players you mentioned are a liability to us winning the flag.Hopefully after they have a few shockers they go to newtown but unfortunatly i too think they will be in the 17.I reckon robbo must have a few doubts about Kenny Dowell after watching him the other night.

No mate I don't but I'd say they both be pretty similar, both crap defenders imho

I'd love to be a fly on the wall when Robbo sits down with SKD to review his performance ( & inefficiencies) for the AllStars
I'm sure Robbo will highlight the key areas he must work hard & improve on otherwise..........????

There is now genuine pressure for centre positions at the club, something we haven't really had for a long, long time.
The ball is squarely in SKD's court.

I'm about to watch that gangly spastic run around again in 10 mins. Someone tell him that the arms are joined to the torso by things called shoulders...and they are useful for stopping opposing centres and tucking the ball under. Is it because he's a Kiwi and they don't have shoulders?

                              Chook.

Maybe he's misunderstood the shoulder charge ban and thinks he isn't supposed to use them at all? He can use it as an excuse this time around at least...
