We should have thrown everything at Cronk: houses, boats, calves' blood, whatever he wanted.

              Nice work Mack.

Now get Evans and Moga tied up long term and we will be set.

Let's see if he can finally justify all of these contract extensions.

Stop defending Perrett. He's up there with Shane Wherat, Todd Byrne and Michael Appleby as one of the worst wingers to ever embrace our club.

                    I still don't think he's proven himself as a top-of-the-line halfback.

Can you ever recall him taking a game by the scruff of the neck, picking the team up when it's down and inspiring a victory? Or even just patches of consistent form?

I hope he comes good and I know he's only young still but that's a massive deal if what he dishes up over the next five years is what we've seen over the past five years.
                    Who is your better alternative?

Where are you blokes who insisted he was going to Saints, Manly or the Dogs???
All gone into hybernation have you.
Is anyone going to be man enough to say "I was wrong?".
I may need to go into archive threads and shame you all one by one.

Go on, do it. I'm sure we can all use a good laugh.

Ive heard plenty of people say that pearce is 'all name, no game'. If this is the case then why is mortimer straggling in reserves? He has a more prestigious surname so shouldn't he be in first grade somewhere?
Pearcey has a lot of talent and a lot of heart... I will admit that he struggles to dominate when the team really needs him to. But there are only a rare few who can in this comp. Even Marshall and Johnson, who many on here rate highly struggle to take the game by the scruff of the neck and close out matches. That is not to say they aren't great halves though...

What a sad week it's been for St Merge with the realisation that they've missed out on Bellamy & Pearce.........my heart bleeds for the supporters .

Doom and gloom ahead for the redV!!!

Did you not see Marshall go missing on Saturday night? He rarely steps up when needed to IMO
