He does some brilliant things, no doubt. But he does go missing on occasions and fails a lot of the time control the game and continue to come up with the right plays the way thurston and cronk do.
Like I said, I rate marshall but I think what a lot of people criticise pearce for, is also one of marshall's defficiencies...

          - Said he's always loved the club, always wanted to be a Rooster
          - Came back with a fresh head this year, had to change a few things in his life
          - Talked up Robbo's standards and structures
          - Told his manger he always wanted to stay at the Roosters and never considered leaving
          - Admitted to partying a bit too hard last year, said he's put it behind him and hopes to see the results this year
          - Stoked with the new signings, thinks we've got a great squad
          - Admitted he wasn't happy at times last year
          - Says Roosters are his home, been here since he's sixteen through the good and bad times

Really honest interview, refreshing for a pro footballer these days.

Geez you can be a twat sometimes, Marshall can do some great things, but I don't think it's an unreasonable statement to say he goes missing too often to be called a true champion, just my opinion, I'm sure you will let me know yours!

Pearce: "Hopefully we can win a couple of comps in the next few years."

Now that is music to my ears!!

For you to understand what Mitchell said, I assume there was a translator there or subtitles?

On ya Mitch....we love you bud!

I'm not defending hjis ability, I'm defending somebody saying he was disloyal because he signed with the Dogs.

                        Fair enough.
It would be a bit difficult to defend his ability. Blind Freddy can see he's crap!

This is fantastic news that we have secured Mitchell Pearce for the next four seasons. Admittedly he has been the chosen one enigma of sorts since he made he’s debut for us and the world of expectation has been placed on his shoulders from all levels – Club and State.

Honestly as an Easts man i hope that he can show the doubters what a quality half-back he can truly become and that TR coaches to his strengths and guides this man’s career to reach the heights i believe he is capable of.

Some of the matches where he has stood out in my eyes were against Country last season and following that up against the Dragons in that awful Anzac Day match but after that Origin series he faded.

He has a great short passing game and a decent kick game if he can find consistency to be able to have continued concentration. He is a young man and Freddy was much the same or probably worse at the same age but if he can find that maturity I am sure he can lead this team and it will be he’s team into a bright future.

                          I’m hoping he delivers.

                            I'm hoping he delivers too.

As far as I'm concerned the jury is well and truly out on Mitch.

But we've got him for 5 years now so no point wondering about it.

He's still young, and there is a dearth of quality 7s in the game.

Time to develop some consistency Mitch.

This is a big reason why his continual re-signings need to be questioned.

I don't think he is crap 13. He is an average and very limited first grader. And better judges than us have had him in their FG teams. He is not great, very average, but I don't think he is crap.
