"Pearce admitted he partied too hard last season."

This is a big reason why his continual re-signings need to be questioned.

Lol! That was in between sooking about the coach. I hope he has taken a good look at himself and has matured. There can be no more excuses as he has a coach he wants and a good squad around him this year.

As far as I'm concerned the jury is well and truly out on Mitch.

But we've got him for 5 years now so no point wondering about it.

He's still young, and there is a dearth of quality 7s in the game.

Time to develop some consistency Mitch.
          agree totally

very pleased he is with us till 2017. He did fade after SOO last year but I think he was carrying a shoulder injury. Added to this was our team's inability to hold the ball which means the 1/2back is not getting the ball in attacking positions and he and Smith had a falling out.

I think, Pearce will have a very good season. Intesrested to see what our attaacking structure looks like

Always tried hard but no speed, bad under the high ball and scores very few tries.
His dummy half runs and quick play the balls are what he has going for him but I'd take a safe winger who scores the occassional try over Sam P any day of the week.

We should have thrown everything at Cronk: houses, boats, calves' blood, whatever he wanted.
Cronk didn't want to go anywhere. And even if he did, we were well down the queue to sign him.

No one ever believes me when I say this but I reckon that Cooper Cronk is the most overrated halfback our game has ever seen.

Take C.Smith out of the equation and he wouldn't even know how to tie his own shoe laces. Just my Opinion....

no, i agree with you there davos. split any of the 'big 3' up and they would struggle. after the salary cap rorts, they had to get rid of one of the 'big 4', and even though it took them ages for them to officially announce it, it was always going to be inglis.
