David Stagg was available a few months back, I'd certainly prefer him if we need an older head
Anyway, hope I'm wrong but I'll be surprised if LOD produces much of anything
aggression is very overrated
Stagg is a different sort of player. Maubs plays that role for us. I don't believe we were looking for that sort of player.
I hope you're wrong too mate.
IMO aggression isn't as important as it once was in RL but never the less every pack needs someone to follow. I've already seen a quote today from one of our players who commented that the chance to play along side someone like pLOD was very exciting.
Human nature is still human nature even in 2013. Hard carnts like pLOD are still better to play with than against. It's a tough game built on aggression. Some things never change, thank fark.
Harden up Teabags my man.
The FlogPen .
You know it makes sense.

Cant argue with that,,,,,i know some guys mite think well what about when SBW & LOD leave and that we should of kept Taka & Masoe but by then Kane Evans dylan Napa & Cordner will take over and do a better job then say if we kept Masoe & Taka
We have improved our list for every facet of the game(especially attack where we couldn't score a point) and anyone who doesn't that we have is just a cynical junkie clutching at straws.Comment of the year:

To lose two young backrowers in Taka and Cherro for a 32 yr old with dodgy knees who hasn't played NRL for 2 years is a massive gamble. I know many here have on rose coloured glasses regarding LOD, but I can't see this decision paying off in the long or short term.
Chook.
But more than that, I just don't like giving away Taka for him.Embrace the Hate! JC
