iven som have said chaig the cap (not on here, but everybody at work is) I thought I'd list out who we had in 2010, who we've lost and who we've gained just to give everybody a picture of just how many people we've offloaded in order to sign 4 decent players (who were 100% necessary in order to make us competitive in 2013... let's be frank, we have been the $hit kickersfor the last 2 seasons. Thank God for teams like Parra!!!!)
2010 GF team:

There are acually more players who we have offloaded (Jaubs, J Carney, Targive, Mitchell, Symonds, Cherrington, Brad T...etc)
For that we've basically gained SBW, Jennings, Maloney and O'donnell...
Why do we still get accused of cheating? I don't get it...
Last season the Dogs were coming first... then they signed something like 5 new DECENT players mid-season without dropping anybody of note. No questions asked?
I could go on to list other teams but the crux is, we now have a few decent players (still less than many teams) and don't look anything like the Storm (after it's post-cap culling...)
We're still catching up with teams like Manly and the Storm (who have more star players on their books)... this was more a game of catch-up where we offloaded a bunch of players in order to bolster our young talent. I hope what we've done provides us with enough fire power to make the top 4 this season!!!
