at todays foundation cup press conference Robbo said SBW might not be named when the team is announced tomorrow, sounds very much like the club is waiting to see how he pulls up after todays tackling session.

Robbo says that Sonny may not be named for the match this Saturday night, after only having his first contact session today #SydWst

Robbo says that Sonny's natural position is in the back row and he doesn't believe he's in doubt for Round 1 #SydWst

Bit disappointing that the club wont be naming a side until tomorrow after promoting that it'd be named at the press conference today.

I guess it gives an extra day for Robbo to look at Sonny, LOD and any maybe one or two players recovering from injuries.

Was really looking forward to SBW playing. Don't want his first game of league in 5 years to be in Round 1. Hopefully he trains well today and is on the bench for this weekend.

The team list will consist of 20 plus players anyway,so its hardly a highly anticipated event...

If you're speaking from experience you should have gotten a second opinion.

                  Chook.

It'll be close to full strength so it'd certainly give away a few answers as to what the team will look like in round 1.

Just because SBW is not named does not mean he won't get some game time. Robbo has said that the medical/coaching staff will assess him after a couple of days of wrestling & tackling and if they decide he is OK he may still get a hit out.

I'll be surprised if he doesn't get 20 minutes.

Lol. That sounds like quite the fisting.

I really hope sbw gets a run on the weekend, not so worried about lod. Jwh needs to be out there too.

I seriously never expected SBW to be playing in this trial and I'm a bit surprised at how many were pinning their hopes on him taking the field. I really don't care who plays for us on Saturday as long as they get the job done against that plastic entity of a merged club (my friend Cannon's words, not mine, but I do agree!). There is nothing funnier than watching Tigers fans celebrate too early...I cannot wait for Saturday. I'm meeting a group of clients and friends for the game and we are just looking forward to the season starting again. I saw some footage from Gosford and I have never seen our club ooze so much positivity. Exciting times ahead..no matter who is taking the field for us. They all deserve our support.

If he was going to have a run even for 10 minutes at the end of the match, do you think they would tell.
Maybe they want to keep it low key, I bet the media circus will be there anyway, just in case.
