agree Chook, Maubs is clinging on to a first grade spot by his fingernails, if we had a full strength squad to pick from I doubt he would now make the top 17

I can't believe that some people have said that they would include him in their 17 if he is fit. He needs at least 6 months of NSW cup and good form to warrant a selection wherever he goes. One year out of our comp is hard enough, but 3 years is an Everest to climb.
Good luck to him. What he is doing is very brave. He has worked a lot in the community trying to right his wrongs and make amends for his past life. I hope that he gets a shot in NRL, but with regards to our club's decision, looking forward, I think we made the right call. I just hope that our club ditches Symmonds if he doesn't get his act together by the end of the year.Comment of the year:
