Yes he did kick a field goal and it will go down in history. That game is still to date the highest selling DVD from the NRL archives. Even people who don't follow us have purchased it for the sheer excitement. It's so easy to jump on the hyper critical bandwagon and take cheap shots. I for one am very grateful my team made it to a grand final the year after getting a very embarrassing spoon. If I was bagged out as much as Braith has been over the years, I'd want the right of reply too..

A lot happened in that game a part from that field goal. Kennedy's strong charge in the scrum, Carney setting up two miraculous trys, an amazing intercept by SKD, etc. That year, it wasn't until we moved Carney into the halves and moved Anasta outside of the playmaking role, that we looked a chance.

I'm sure R6 would support me with facts, but I would warrant that Anasta in his time at our club was statistically the worst playmaker in the comp. The warriors had a bad year last year, and Maloney still had better stats than anasta.

He came here as the "next freddy". The shoe lace on freddy's right boot has more ability than him. For the money he was earning we certainly didn't get what we had bargained for.

I really do throw my support behind some players (Willy Mason, Braith Anasta etc) only to be extremely relieved when they walk away. The club is better for releasing Anasta and giving the captaincy to someone who truly bleeds red, white and blue. Here's hoping we stick to Wests tomorrow night and throughout the season.

Mate, you only hear things here and there but When we signed him I reckon he would have been on at least 400-500k. He was definitely our highest paid player. Later in his years at our club he took a paycut so that we could re-sign him.

That's beside the point, I'm not paying him out of my pocket so good luck to him. The thing that I cannot stand with this guy is that he always finds someone or something to blame his performances on and carries on like a sook. He's taking cheap shots at our club and our fans now that he has left and is biting the hand which used to feed him. When it's not that it's the refs, the coaches, etc.

If you look at the list of our past captains, names like fittler, Beetson, Fitzgibbon, Ricketson etc, you'd think that he'd be honoured to be a part of that list. Instead he is blaming the honor of captaining our great club on his woeful performances and insisting that our fans were to blame for pressuring him.

Anyway, I'm over talking about cap theif. Time to focus on the issue at hand, and that is our awesome looking team in 2013. I can't wait for tonight's match and I'm counting down the seconds.
